This charming tale about three sisters, the men they love, and what it means to take care of those we love takes listeners on a journey from San Francisco to Austin, TX. Jane, Cecilia, and Margot move to Austin with the hopes of starting over after they are forced to close their tea shop. Starting over in Texas, though, is not what the sisters expect. Cecilia leaves California with a broken heart seeking a fresh start with her sisters. Instead, Jane develops a relationship with a guy who seems too good to be true. When the truth comes out and tragedy strikes, the sisters' faith in one another and their decisions are put to the test. Read by Kate Handford, the formality of San Francisco and the casualness of Austin come through clearly. At times, however, Cecilia's voice is particularly soft and difficult to understand. Particularly pleasing is that the narration includes the recipes sprinkled throughout.
