Horn Book Review

Snow Cat falls out of Santa's sleigh and lands in New York, where she searches for him amidst all the nearly Santa[s] in the city. Finally, Santa alights on the World Trade Center and comes to rescue her. This schmaltzy endeavor bogs down in countless diversions of whimsy, and the illustrations, though Christmas-themed and realistically detailed, often donÆt match the text.
