Horn Book Review

Written by Erica Farber. In Hat (level 1), the wind blows Lowly Worm's hat away, leading him and his friends on a wild chase. Campout (level 3) tells about a backyard camping adventure during which the animal friends have a scare about a ghost. Full of slapstick humor, the lively illustrations (in Richard Scarry's style) expand on the texts, both with vocabulary appropriate for its easy-reader level.
