Based on episodes from the television show, both of these easy-to-read books center on Franklin, a turtle with a lot to learn. In one book, Franklin makes three batches of cookies in order to have enough to share, in another he loses a library book. Both volumes feature stilted writing, generic illustrations, and heavy-handed lessons.
